CONGRATULATIONS to Joe Cortright, the SMSO’s Show Me Appreciation Winner!!
Sarah Siplinger nominated Joe as a shining example of what it means to be an optician. As Sarah shared with us, “I’m submitting this to thank him for being a fantastic manager and teacher, and he deserves to be recognized for all he’s done and will do. He helped me pass my ABO, answering all my questions with only the occasional sassiness (he knows it’s true!). Joe is passionate about his job and shares that passion with not only his patients but co-workers as well.”

Joe is an optician at LensCrafters in Springfield, Missouri. He received a prize pack from the SMSO including a complementary registration to the SMSO’s 2025 Uplifting the Optician convention! We look forward to seeing him there.
